21 The Aberrant Daughter
A buxom
young woman, Shelly Dupree just graduated from an Arkansas boarding school for
girls. She is preparing for college when she is informed of her mother's
suicide. She returns to her hometown, a place she had not seen since she was a
small girl to handle her mother's affairs. She is plunged into a world alien to
her as she discovers the life her mother led, one from which her mother took
great pains to conceal from her. She meets the Reverend, a charismatic and
powerful figure in the town who keeps tight control on his flock. She is soon
drawn into the man's orbit with the nefarious help of another member of the
church, a female acolyte. The innocent and naïve young woman soon surrenders
control to him as he enthralls her with a combination of religious fervor and
carnal debauchery. Trying to please the Reverend and to seal the covenant she
has made with him and his church, she ventures out to the local tattoo and
piercing parlor. While there the young woman's charms draw the attention of
several leaders of the local Motorcycle Club, The Road Hogs. They are
determined to recruit her as one of the clubs female old ladies who help
finance the club by their extracurricular activities. They invite her to
compete and win easy money at the weekly wet t-shirt contest, where they plan
to manipulate her with drugs in order to facilitate her recruitment. Upset by
revelations found in her mothers private journal, the girl is torn between
remaining with the Church or joining the "family" of the motorcycle club.
