17 The Cursed Jewess
A
beautiful Polish woman, whose family was decimated by the tragic events of the
Holocaust in Eastern Europe immigrates to the US as a very young child. Years
later the scars of those events, not only the ones she bears, but the ones born
by others come together to continue to haunt her and to curse not only her
life, but that of her daughter. Left vulnerable and alone by tragic
circumstance, the mother and her daughter are isolated by cultural differences,
and become the target of the evil exploitation at the hands of her
brother-in-law. Feeling she has nowhere to turn and desperate to protect her
daughter, she submits to his advances unaware of the true depths of his
depravity. In trying to protect her daughter she only assures that her
misfortunes will continue into the next generation.. The her brother-in-law's
machinations are fueled by jealousy, cultural and religious hatred. They spring
from the demented fantasies that grew from the tales he heard at the knee of
his Ukrainian grandfather and great uncles who worked in the extermination
camps in Poland and who escaped justice. HIs demented plans are to force the
slow submission and degradation of mother and daughter. He wants to experience
first hand the power and control his relatives wielded. The first step in his
sick plan is to degrade the mother and then alienate them as he slowly grooms
the daughter to be his creature. He subjects them to trials designed to break
their will and to force them to assume to relate to the women who were
condemned to work in a camp brothels to save themselves if only for a time,
from liquidation.
