18 BBC: The Jamaican Concierge
The
bizarre trend of Females from Europe and the United States to visit Jamaica as
a place to fulfill their sexual fantasies and indulge in sexual excess is well
known. In our story an innocent Bachelorette trip has unsuspecting consequences
when one of a pair of friends uses the visit as an opportunity to get
retribution and revenge on her unsuspecting rival. The maid of honor, had
herself fallen prey to the charms of a Jamaican Hotel Concierge. She works with
him both out of a sick dependency as well as to fulfill her own plans to turn
the table on her friend. The Boston debutante is at first repelled by the
sexuality of the local men such as the brazen propositions by rent-a-dreads
plying their sexual talents on the beach. Over time through a combination of
her friends urgings and her own curiosity her resolve breaks down and in one
evening her world implodes in a night of sexual exploitation and revelation.
Over the remainder of her vacation she comes to question the life she had
planned for herself, her fiancée and her future. She has to decide to stay in
Jamaica with her new love or return home to her wealthy fiancée and a life of
privilege.
