This book
continues the saga of Robyn Poteet, an innocent who suffers abuse and
degradation at the hand of an opportunistic predator. Dan Lancing is a
libertine and hedonist; he believes he is a law unto himself. He views the
women who cross his path and fall under his sway, as mere objects for his
gratification, amusement. He slakes his own sick desires and then using their
frailties and emotional needs to mold and groom the unsuspecting young women
and turns them into sex workers for his monetary gain.
Robyn once
aspired to go to college and learn a profession, but her dreams are shattered
when she meets Mr. Lancing. She willfully throws her future away to earn the
approval and love of the man who only ever wanted to exploit her for her looks
and sexuality.
This book
follows Dan Lancing as he grows his illicit enterprise of prostitutes bringing
in both his father and his son into what proves to be a family business.
This story
is a warning to society about the sociopaths living amongst us. They need not
be monsters we see, the most dangerous are those cloaked in the mantle of
culture, veiled behind the fine lace of propriety and wealth and hide behind
the false facade of caring and affection.
